Artificial Intelligence
National Geographic Learning, English Language Teaching, and AI
National Geographic Learning’s mission is to bring the real world to the classroom and the classroom to life. We believe that helping learners to develop interpersonal connections and a strong, unique voice is more important than ever. We are committed to creating teaching and learning resources using real, factual, verified content, from National Geographic and other sources, which can be trusted by educators and learners worldwide.
We are researching and identifying ways to harness the power of AI to support the creation, delivery, and use of our trusted, high-quality learning programs. Our Spark platform already uses AI to automate and personalize specific tasks.
We do not believe that AI will or could replace teachers. Rather, AI can assist teachers with their work. We believe that AI can bring the classroom to life for educators and students in new ways which increase learner engagement and outcomes through personalization and enhanced support.
